Carl M Balingit, L.Ac.
I'm Carl. My first language is English. My second is medicine. Acupuncture is my specialty.
I also do cupping, moxibustion, gua sha... and a few more Chinese medicine skills that you might not have heard of, but are good for you anyway.
Sometimes I prescribe a Chinese herbal formula. But only if I feel you need it, because I don't like recommending things you don't need.
Yes, I'm well trained in what I do. I have a 10th degree black belt in acupuncture (a.k.a. Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine).
I'm also nationally certified to stick you with painless needles. Ahem. I mean I'm a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, certified by the NCCAOM.
I used to be a nuclear engineer. My countless hours near nuclear power has given me the ability to heal you with the power of thought. Not really. However, I am good at critical analysis and troubleshooting, which means you'll benefit from a well-thought-out diagnosis for whatever ails you.
I'm light-hearted with a dry sense of humor, but I take my work seriously. The most helpful thing I'll do for you --- beyond acupuncture --- is connect with you. The connection is to help educate you on healthy living. For my ultimate goal is to help you help yourself.
My practice is in Mission Hills, where serving you helps me as much as it helps you. So, thanks in advance!
In Good Health,
